CASI 2005 25th Conference on Applied Statistics in Ireland

Call for Papers Contributions (for oral and poster presentation) on the theory and practice of Statistics are invited particularly on, or related to, the following planned sessions:

• Medical Statistics,
• Pharmaceutical Statistics,
• Official Statistics,
• Agricultural Statistics,
• Statistics in IT, and,
• General Statistics.

Submissions should be in the form of extended abstracts of no more than 2 A4 pages. The abstracts should be formatted so that they are single spaced, single column, use 12pt Times Roman font, and are in either Word or LaTeX format.

Abstracts should be submitted via email to a.h.marshall@qub.ac.uk, by 31 March 2005.

Contributed papers will be presented either orally or by poster.

Oral presentations will be approximately 20 minutes in length with 5 additional minutes for questions. Please let us know upon abstract submission/registration if you only wish to be considered for poster presentation.

Poster presenters should note that the maximum size for posters is A0 (Height 1189mm x Width 841mm).

We will have facilities for laptop and PDA presentations, as well as overhead projection, but if you will be using other media, please let us know well in advance, and we will try to facilitate you.
