pERFEcTO is online!

Hi everybody!

I am Alessio, a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Queen’s University Belfast. In this website, I will highlight the main activities of my project pERFEcTO.

pERFEcTO is a project funded by the EU program Horizon 2020 through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship under grant agreement No. 795782.

Update: project pERFEcTO has ended on the 30 November 2020. I will still update this website with works and posts connected to, or initiated during, pERFEcTO. For more, up-do-date information about my current scientific activity visit my homepage https://alessiobelenchia.wordpress.com/

Paper published in Communications Physics!

Our recent work on Testing the foundations of quantum physics in space: Interferometric and non-interferometric tests with Large Particles has been recently published as a perspective paper in the Nature family journal Communications Physics.

With Giulio Gasbarri, Matteo Carlesso, Sandro Donadi, Angelo Bassi, Rainer Kaltenbaek, Mauro Paternostro and Henrik Ulbricht. Check it out at https://rdcu.be/cnUdthttps://rdcu.be/cnUdt

New paper out on the arXiv!

Our work on Testing the foundations of quantum physics in space: Interferometric and non-interferometric tests with Large Particles is online. In this work, we discuss the possibilities offered by space for experiments with large nanoparticles to test quantum mechanics at unprecedented levels.
